ISRO missions

from a bicycle carrying a rocket part in 1963, to a successful moon landing in 2023.
India started its space program with Aryabhata (1975), launched by the Soviet Union. Today ISRO has launched 400+ satellites (including 90+ for other countries), mapped the moon twice, orbited Mars on a smaller budget than the Gravity movie, and in Aug 2023 became the first nation to land near the lunar south pole.
